I can't get enough of this song lately, probably my favorite by Calexico. Started wondering if there was anything good on YouTube by them... there's tons.

What's the one CD that will totally remind you of the Summer of 2006?
I'm fairly sure it is going to be Neko Case's Fox Confessor Brings The Flood. Crazy name. Awesome CD. Star Witness could possibly be in my top 20 all time favorite songs list... if I actually kept a list like that.
Pretty much anything that Neko touches is gold to me. I like her solo stuff. I like her with The New Pornographers. Either way.
I must admit that I was hoping the summer disc was going to be Garden Ruin by Calexico. Unfortunately I just couldn't get into it. It isn't a bad album, but after about 5 spins I was over it and listening to The Black Light again.
